NBA Playoffs 2011: Dallas Mavericks vs. Portland Trail Blazers Game 2 Blog
Hey guys, it's James Schmidt, a Houston Rockets featured columnist here at B/R. I'm gonna be live blogging the second game of the Trail Blazers versus the Mavericks.
We'll just do a quick matchup run down to get started.
PG: Jason Kidd vs. Andre Miller
Advantage, Kidd. Kidd's veteran know how and three point shot give him the edge over Andre Miller.
SG: Deshawn Stevenson vs. Wesley Matthews
Advantage, Matthews. Stevenson is a bad starter at this level and Matthews has a clear edge.
SF: Shawn Marion vs. Gerald Wallace
Advantage, Wallace. Wallace is a near all star every year and is one of the best rebounders and defenders at his position. Marion is good at those as well, just not as good as Wallace.
PF: Dirk Nowitzki vs. Lamarcus Aldridge
Advantage, Nowitzki. Nowitzki is the best power forward in basketball, although Aldridge has had a great season, clear advantage to Dirk.
C: Tyson Chandler vs. Marcus Camby
Advantage, even. Both are very good defenders and shot blockers who will make an impact defensively.
My prediction is Dallas by seven.
