NBA Playoffs 2011: Watch Nene Hilario Slam on Nick Collison's Head in Game 1

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets certainly did not disappoint in Game 1 of their playoff series yesterday.

The superstar-less Nuggets, one of the hottest teams in the NBA since the All-Star break, have the unfortunate task of taking on two of the best young superstars in the league who are on a mission to get out of the first round this year.

Game 1 was as exciting as advertised and the Thunder held on for a win behind 41 points from Kevin Durant, the league's top scorer.

Although he was the top highlight grabber of the night, Denver made some plays of its own and actually fell behind on what looked like an illegal tip from Kendrick Perkins with just under a minute to play.

Denver's top scorer was Nene, one of the holdovers in the "Mega-Melo" deal.

He finished with 22 points and eight boards with a few exciting dunks including this one that ended up on Nick Collison's head.

After setting a high screen, Nene rolls to the hoop (Ray Felton actually misses an opportunity for alley-oop to Nene) but dishes to a cutting Kenyon Martin.

Martin is beset by about three Oklahoma City defenders and leaves a great bounce pass inside for the cutting Nene who gobbles it up and throws it down for a monstrous one-hand slam.

Oklahoma City's Nick Collison lost track of Nene on the initial pass, but turned around just in time to get a facial from the Denver big man after missing with a slap at the ball.

Collison never left his feet and the ball ended up bouncing off his head as he looks away in disgust as the Nuggets took a one point lead that wouldn't hold down the stretch.

At least Nene has a new poster for when the postseason is over.
