If anyone has watched Dwight Howard this season, it's pretty obvious that he's been playing with a lot of desire and ferocity this year, unlike any other time before.
The reigning Defensive Player of the Year has worked hard to try to improve and refine his game—that's why he's having the most productive offensive production of his career. However, the rest of the Magic's players have battle through inconsistency all season long.
Perhaps that's why he's playing with so much fire. He just wants to win and is trying to show his teammates how much he values winning.
He now leads the league in technical fouls with 18, and just came back from his second one-game suspension for exceeding the league limit.
In Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the big man was as aggressive as ever.

Because that's exactly what Jrue Holliday needed to do: Get out of the way!
