Chicago Bulls Video: Watch Derrick Rose Score on Dwyane Wade and LeBron James

Sam WestmorelandMar 7, 2011

There's a Chicago Bulls vs Miami Heat video making its way across the sports landscape today and before you ask, no, it's not a clip of LeBron James weeping openly on Mario Chalmers' shoulder in the locker room after the game.

Instead, this clip shows us one of the big reasons why the Heat's locker room got so darned dusty after the game: Derrick Rose.

The third-year point guard was electric all night and never was he more fantastic than on this play.

With 8:51 to play in the third quarter, Miami led Chicago 54-48. James tries to feed a pass in to Erick Dampier in the post, only to have it picked off by Bulls power forward Carlos Boozer.

Boozer immediately dumps it off to Rose, who flashes the speed that makes him one of the NBA's most feared players in transition.

Rose streaks down court, and elevates as he nears the basket, but there's a problem: Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are between him and the bucket.

So, he does what any budding NBA superstar would do: he pump fakes the ball out of the reach of the swatting Wade, drops it low to avoid LeBron, then flips the ball up and over the rim, and in for the basket.

The bucket cut the Heat's lead to just four, and sent them to the bench for a timeout in absolute disbelief. That doubt proved costly down the stretch, as Miami would lose in the closing seconds of the game, 87-86.

Rose had yet another stellar performance as a whole in this one, posting 27 points, five assists, a rebound and a steal.

The Bulls moved into second place in the Eastern Conference with the win and their record improved to 43-18 overall.
