Alec Burks came up huge in one of the biggest wins in Colorado Buffalo basketball history.
Reeves Nelson was nearly unstoppable as UCLA moved into a Pac-10 first-place tie.
These are just a few of the outstanding performances that we will look at as we review the 10 best performances in college basketball on Saturday, Feb. 26.
10. Reggie Jackson: Boston College

Boston College's Reggie Jackson went off for 25 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals as the Eagles kept their postseason hopes alive with a 63-44 thrashing of Virginia in ACC play.
Jackson shot 10-of-16 from the floor, including 3-of-6 beyond the arc.
This was Jackson's eighth game this season where he scored 25 points or more.
9. Jake Thomas: South Dakota

Jake Thomas had the best game of his career in just about every way he could.
Thomas pulled down eight rebounds, made 10 three-pointers and finished with 40 points as South Dakota walloped Chicago State, 105-73.
Thomas shot 11-of-18 from the floor, 10-of-16 from beyond the arc and he made eight-of-nine free throws.
Thomas set the single-game record for three-pointers for the Coyotes (15-13, 6-4 Great West), breaking his previous record of nine in 2009-10.
Thomas also topped his previous career bests in points and rebounds and tied his career highs of 11 field goals and four steals.
8. Darius Miller: Kentucky

With Kentucky's parade of elite-level recruits the last few years, Darius Miller has flown under the radar most of his college career.
Today was his day to shine, as Miller scored a career-high 24 points as the Wildcats (No. 22, 20-8, 8-6 SEC) upended No. 13 Florida (22-6, 11-3 SEC), 76-68,
The 6'7" junior wing shot 9-of-15 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc.
With this win, Kentucky equaled the school record for consecutive wins (33) at Rupp Arena.
7. Josh Owens: Stanford

Stanford's Josh Owens scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Cardinal beat Oregon on the road, 88-71.
Owens shot 12-for-15 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
Stanford's victory broke a four-game losing streak. A fifth defeat would have been the most in a row for the Cardinal since the 1992-93 season.
6. Markieff and Marcus Morris: Kansas

Marcus and Markieff Morris combined for 42 of the Jayhawks' 82 total points, as No. 2 Kansas (27-2, 12-2 Big 12) beat Oklahoma in Norman, 82-70.
Marcus scored 23 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. He grabbed nine rebounds.
Markieff scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. He grabbed 10 rebounds.
Markieff had his Big 12-leading 11th double-double of the season.
5. Alec Burks: Colorado

Colorado guard Alec Burks helped Colorado overcome a 15-point halftime deficit as the Buffaloes bumped off No. 5 Texas, 91-89.
He scored 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, shooting 10-of-21 from the floor and 12-for-20 from the free- throw line.
The Buffs ended a six-game skid against Texas, which lost for the second time in three games.
4. Jeff Allen: Virginia Tech

Jeff Allen led the Hokies in a huge upset win over Duke, 64-60.
The 6'7," 230-pound senior forward scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for his 13th double-double of the season.
Allen, over the last six games, is averaging 19 PPG and 14 RPG.
3. Reeves Nelson: UCLA

Reeves Nelson scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as UCLA beat No. 10 Arizona, 71-49 in the last men's game played at historic Pauley Pavilion before it closes for renovation.
Nelson shot 10-of-13 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
He also was the main player who held the Arizona Wildcats' Derrick Williams in check for most of the afternoon.
The win put the Bruins in a tie with the Wildcats for first place in the Pac-10.
2. Dwight Hardy: St. John's

Dwight Hardy scored a career-high 34 points as St. John's (No. 25, 19-9, 11-5 Big East) went on the road to defeat No. 14 Villanova (21-8, 9-7 Big East), 81-68.
Hardy shot 9-of-16 from the floor, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. He also hit 11-of-13 free throws.
Since the Red Storm's win over Duke on Jan. 30, Hardy is averaging 25.1 PPG and has three 30-point games.
1. Jimmer Fredette: BYU

Jimmer Fredette scored 25 points, handed out nine assists and grabbed three rebounds as No. 7 BYU (27-2, 13-1 MWC) took down No. 4 San Diego State (27-2, 12-2 MWC) in San Diego.
Fredette made 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, setting the school record for made three-pointers (266).
The Cougars, as a team, hit 14-of-24 three-pointers
Fredette's teammates hit 9-of-11 field goal attempts off passes from him, including 6-of-8 on three-point FG.
