N.C. State came out of the gates fast with eight straight points before Wake Forest got on the board.

C.J. Leslie had a fantastic game scoring 19 points on seven of 13 shooting, while pulling down eight rebounds.

N.C. State really dominated the paint against Wake Forest outrebounding them 32-24. Tracy Smith also scored 20 points on nine-of-12 shooting and eight rebounds.

Ryan Harrow is really starting to take control of this team and  it is slowly starting to become his team. Barring injury or illness, Javier Gonzalez should expect to see less and less playing time.

If you are like me, and have been waiting for this day for four years, it has finally start to come.

The Demon Deacons top performer was Travis McKiem, who scored 15 points on six-of-16 shooting and seven rebounds.
