10. Aaron Brooks, PG, Houston Rockets

Aaron Brooks has been coming off the bench for the Rockets for most of the year and about a week ago, the point guard was suspended for a game for letting everyone know just how unhappy he was with his role.

Now, it looks like the Rockets are thinking about shipping out the point guard.

Brooks could be a great addition to a contender. He is a guy that can really fill it up when he is on.

9. Jeff Green, F, Oklahoma City Thunder

Jeff Green is a matchup nightmare for opponents. He has the size of a power forward and the skills of a small forward. He could be an immediate impact player on a number of teams.

The question is, would the Thunder really trade him?

Oklahoma City seems to be a piece away from being a true contender, but they could use Green as a piece to get something big back in return.

8. Tayshaun Prince, SF, Detroit Pistons

Tayshaun Prince has taken a step down the mountain this year. He is starting to lose time to Austin Daye and he also has a nice hefty $11 million expiring contract that could be an attractive trade piece.

Prince might not be close to the player that he used to be, but he could still make an impact on a contender.

The Pistons are in rebuilding mode and moving Prince seems like a logical move before the deadline.

Courtney Lee was a surprise when he made the leap from Western Kentucky a few years ago. He was part of a Magic team that went to the finals his rookie year. He has now become a nice bench player for the Rockets.

The Bulls are reportedly interested in trading for Lee to help fill their void at the shooting guard position.

Lee could come in and start for the Bulls as a fifth scoring option and good defender. He might not be a guy who will score in double figures, but he is a solid role player.

6. Andre Iguodala, SF, Phildelphia 76ers

Andre Iguodala has been rumored to be on the trading block dating back to the offseason. However, it does look like Iguodala might actually be sticking in Philly.

Iguodala could be pried from the hands of the 76ers with a nice trade offer.

While his numbers have dipped a little bit this year, Iguodala could be a very good second fiddle on a contender.

5. Anderson Varejao, PF, Cleveland Cavaliers

6 of 10

The Cleveland Cavaliers are historically bad this year; they have lost more consecutive games than any team ever in the NBA. The streak is due in large part to LeBron James leaving, but it also doesn't help that Anderson Varejao has missed games due to injury.

Varejao is a solid defensive power forward that could be a big help to a team looking for a frontcourt depth.

While it might take some maneuvering to get Varejao, the Cavs might be willing to ship him out in order to improve their chances at the top overall draft pick and in order to start the rebuilding process.

4. O.J. Mayo, SG, Memphis Grizzlies

7 of 10
LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 02: Head coach Lionel Hollins of the Memphis Grizzlies talks to O.J. Mayo #32 in the game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on November 2, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. The Lakers defeated the Grizzlies 124-10

O.J. Mayo is another guy that has been rumored to be on the block, but it is unknown just how serious the Grizzlies are about shipping him or whether teams would want to trade for a troubled guy like Mayo.

Mayo has not only been suspended for drugs, but also got into a fight on an airplane with one of his teammates.

There are a few teams that could really use a shooting guard like Mayo in order to improve their roster, but the Grizzles expect a lot for him.

3. Andrew Bynum, C, LA Lakers

8 of 10
LOS ANGELES, CA - JANUARY 30: Andrew Bynum #17 of the Los Angeles Lakers is defended by Kendrick Perkins #43 of the Boston Celtics in the second half at Staples Center on January 30, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. The Celtics defeated the Lakers 109-96

Andrew Bynum was mentioned as part of a trade for Carmelo Anthony earlier in the week, but the deal was vetoed by one of the members of the Lakers front office.

Bynum does more for the Lakers than he would for nearly any other team, but if he were healthy for 82 games a year, it seems like he would be a much bigger trade piece.

I doubt Bynum gets traded, but he could make an impact if he got traded to a team that expected more of him.

2. Monta Ellis, SG, Golden State Warriors

Monta Ellis is one of the better young scoring guards in the NBA, but it sounds like the Warriors view him as a possible trade piece to improve the franchise.

There are surely a number of teams that would love to add Ellis to their roster and would be willing to pay through the nose to get him.

The real question is whether the Warriors would really want to part ways with him. He is another guy that I doubt gets traded this season, but nothing would shock me.

1. Carmelo Anthony, SF, Denver Nuggets

10 of 10

Honestly, there isn't really anything that I would need to say about Carmelo Anthony that hasn't already been said.

He is a top-15 player looking to get traded. He could end up sticking in Denver, but I think he ultimately ends up in New York, whether it is this year or next year.

If he does end up somewhere away from Denver, he will be an immediate high-impact guy.
