Cleveland Cavs: They Cannot Possibly Be This Bad...This Is a Royal Mess!
All knew that the Cleveland Cavaliers would struggle without LeBron James. We knew they wouldn't win 60 games this seasons. But did you ever believe......in your wildest imagination....they would win only 12 games all season? This is bad. This is dreadfully bad.
A plea has been made from Cleveland fans to end the season today. "End it and put us out of our misery." We all knew that this was not a talent-laden team, but none of us knew how dependent the Cavaliers' success laid with one player. Is LeBron really that good........or are the other players that bad?
The Cavaliers have lost any swagger they may have had when "King James" took his show to South Beach. They no longer believe they can win. "Stick a fork in them. They're done."
I feel so badly for Byron Scott. What did he do to inherit this "twelve man travesty"? He doesn't have a prayer with the "keystone cops" of basketball. They are a comedy of errors. Maybe LeBron saw just how abysmal this situation really is. But LeBron, "I' still don't forgive you." It will take a total overhaul to right this sinking ship.
The Cavaliers are a team of role players. I don't think you could pull one player from their roster and they'd start on any other NBA franchise. They are tier-2 support players. They can back up but no one on this team is an NBA starter.
Danny Ferry was in way over his head trying to put together this team. I don't know how that man was put in this position to bring in talent and build around LeBron. I think a lot had to do with his pedigree. His dad was Bob Ferry, so they figured he could recognize and assemble talent. Former Clevelander, Halle Berry would probably have done a better job.
It's unbelievable to me that Cleveland has allowed good talent right in the state of Ohio to go elsewhere. How could certain guys not get drafted and not even get a look? You cannot make me believe former Buckeye Ron Lewis cannot knock down shots as consistently as Danny Gibson or Mo Williams. I refuse to believe former Buckeye Terrance Dials cannot do what Antawn Jamison does. There is too much talent out there for Cleveland to be this bad. Somebody needs to be calling somebody. Bring some guys back from overseas. Cleveland needs front line tier-1 players. We don't have any.
What moves will be made? What moves can you make? What superstar marquis player would be willing to play with the Cavaliers?
I hope there is someone bold and brave enough to accept the challenge. The "King" is gone. Who will replace him? Who'll pick up the chalice? Where is Lancelot and Galahad when you need them?
