Tom KinslowJun 7, 2018

NBA power rankings are here and as we get closer and closer to the halfway point of the season, we're breaking down the best games we've had to this point.

We've had monster comebacks, buzzer beaters and so much more and we're giving you the 25 best games so far, with video for each one. So make yourself comfy and enjoy some of the best basketball action of the season.

Any thoughts or comments? Make sure to leave it below.

No. 25: Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers

1 of 25

Any time you hit a four-point play to tie a game and then hit another in overtime, you have a thrilling game on your hands.

Jason Richardson and J.J. Redick both worked their shooting touch to help the Orlando Magic overcome a very-game Sixers team earlier this week, as Orlando continued to win basketball games after the big trade that shook up the team.

Dwight Howard fouled out before the end of regulation and it still wasn't enough for Philadelphia, which has had more than its share of close losses.

No. 24: Boston Celtics vs. Dallas Mavericks

2 of 25

This game was one of the feathers in the cap of Dirk Nowizki's MVP campaign.

The German hit a clutch shot with 17.4 seconds to go to help lift the Mavericks over the Boston Celtics after a final heave at the buzzer didn't land for the Cs. This could be a future Finals matchup and there was plenty of drama.

Who wouldn't want to see that Finals matchup?

No. 23: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers

3 of 25

These are two exciting teams and when you throw in the electric atmosphere at the Rose Garden, you have the recipe for an excellent game.

Oklahoma City prevailed in a barn burner, but we almost went to overtime when Wesley Matthews' late layup almost fell along with a foul. Matthews missed the second foul shot intentionally, but Russell Westbrook came flying in for the saving rebound.

You'll see plenty more of these teams down the line.

No. 22: Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers

4 of 25

No Brandon Roy, no problem for the Blazers against the Nuggets.

These two teams would rather have had more successful campaigns, but they are both in the thick of things in the Western Conference. Chauncey Billups had a chance to give the Nuggets the tie late, but took a long three that didn't find the mark.

A final heave at the buzzer didn't find the basket and Portland escaped with the win.

No. 21: Dallas Mavericks vs. New Jersey Nets

5 of 25

The Mavericks have been in a bit of a slump lately, but it didn't matter as Dallas snuck by New Jersey last night.

Dirk Nowitzki came up big yet again for the Mavs, as his shot with less than 10 seconds to go hit about every inch of the rim before falling down for what was the eventual game-winning basket.

New Jersey player Kris Humphries had his girlfriend Kim Kardashian in the building, and you hate to lose in front of your girl.

Maybe that game will get Dallas on a streak and get Kris Humphries dumped. Who knows.

No. 20: Chicago Bulls vs. Houston Rockets

6 of 25

Derrick Rose is one of the favorites for the MVP award as we get closer to the midway point of the season, and plays like this show you why.

Rose never gave up on the play and that three sent it to overtime, where the Bulls would beat the Rockets by three. It was a thrilling game and the former Memphis Tiger has put Chicago on his back this year with injuries to Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah.

He's exciting to watch and he has the Bulls playing well even despite the injuries.

No. 19: Denver Nuggets vs. Chicago Bulls

7 of 25

It wasn't Michael Jordan in the Finals, but it will do.

Carmelo Anthony was playing sick after dealing with the flu for a couple of days and he responded by lifting the Nuggets over the Chicago Bulls with this game-winning shot as time expired. Sure, he may want out of Denver, but for that moment, none of it mattered.

That could be his last clutch moment in a Denver uniform. Soak it in, Nuggets fans.

No. 18: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Milwaukee Bucks

8 of 25

Fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers have had very little to cheer about since LeBron James left this summer, but this game helped.

Mo Williams is one of the players LeBron left behind and he helped bury the Milwaukee Bucks with a pretty shot over Brandon Jennings as time expired. Not only that, but he makes a nice leap onto the scorer's table as the crowd goes wild.

It was a feel-good moment for a city that could use one.

No. 17: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers

9 of 25

It was so nice, we had to see it twice.

The Thunder and the Blazers met for the second time in less than two weeks, and right after an overtime thriller in which Oklahoma City escaped with the win. Kevin Durant came up big as he always does, but it almost wasn't enough, as Portland got a great look as time expired, but it wouldn't fall.

That's the story of Portland's season at this point.

No. 16: San Antonio Spurs vs. Milwaukee Bucks

10 of 25

Did he travel or was it a clean play?

That's what needs to be asked after Manu Ginobili's game-winner against the Milwaukee Bucks. Ginobili sure looks like he walks, but it has been argued that it's a hop step, aka a legal third step. The Bucks couldn't buy a break and Ginobili nailed a tough shot.

You have to give credit where it's due.

No. 15: Toronto Raptors vs. Boston Celtics

11 of 25

Never give up on a play.

That's what every fan of the Toronto Raptors saw as they pulled off a miracle win against the Boston Celtics. Boston inbounded late looking to get fouled and go up three when Toronto stole the ball and then hit the game-winning basket.

It was a great play by a team that hasn't seen a lot of great victories.

No. 14: Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

12 of 25

The Sixers can't buy a break on this list.

Philadelphia is a young team with a lot of talent and it played a veteran Boston team tough to the very end, but it wasn't enough. Rajon Rondo found Kevin Garnett on a beautiful lob to give the Celtics the lead and the win.

It's those types of wins that make championship teams what they are.

No. 13: Utah Jazz Vs. Charlotte Bobcats

13 of 25

If Utah is down, the Jazz are never out of it.

Just ask the Bobcats, which were up 16 at halftime, only to see Utah come storming back as Deron Williams hit a floating shot to put the Jazz up late and give Utah the eventual win. Charlotte continued to slide and Larry Brown left the team.

This isn't Utah's last appearance on the list, though.

No. 12: Orlando Magic vs. New Jersey Nets

14 of 25

It's been a strange year for the Orlando Magic, but this was one of the highlights.

Orlando faced a New Jersey team that gave the Magic all it could handle, but it wasn't enough. Jameer Nelson came racing down the court and hit a shot falling back and towards the baseline to give the Magic the lead and the win.

It was an amazing shot and you can see why Nelson is the starting point guard.

No. 11: Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers

15 of 25

What did I say about Utah being down but not out?

The Jazz were down 18 at one point against the Los Angeles Clippers, but they came storming back and forced overtime and double overtime. The two teams traded baskets, but a Deron Williams lay in gave Utah the win.

This was one of the more thrilling victories of the season.

No. 10: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

16 of 25

There's no better way to raise a banner than a comeback win at home.

Los Angeles was down a bunch, but it came storming back and Steve Blake hit a huge shot to help give the Lakers the lead. The Lakers have had an up and down season so far, but you know Los Angeles is going to be a contender in the end.

It was a sign of things to come for Houston, though, even though the Rockets have rebounded somewhat.

No. 9: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers

17 of 25

Derek Fisher does it again.

Fisher has been clutch for years for the Los Angeles Lakers and he took down the Clippers with yet another big-time shot. The Clippers have come close a lot of times this season, only to fall short. The Clippers will get there in time.

For now, though, the Lakers are on top.

No. 8: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers

18 of 25

This isn't exactly a game that you think would produce one of the best games this year.

However, this game came down to the final play and it was a beauty. The lob on the final play to Andrew Bogut hit him in stride, he tipped it in with his hand as the buzzer expired and took the Pacers down in a tough season.

That's a play you have to watch over and over again.

No. 7: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Miami Heat

19 of 25

The Miami Heat have struggled at times this season, and this might have been one of the lower points.

Rudy Gay caught the inbounds pass, dribbled around and shot over a sprawling LeBron James and drained the shot right in his face to send the home crowd to the cars happy. It is one of the best shots of the season by far.

It was one of the games that helped turn Miami into a tougher team.

No. 6: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New York Knicks

20 of 25

Kevin Durant is a beast. Enough said.

Durant took Danilo Gallinari to school last night and drained the game-winning three-pointer right in his face. Here's a hint to Gallinari: If you're going to guard a shooter at the end of the game, don't give him room to shoot.

Hopefully next time he'll remember.

No. 5: Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers

21 of 25

Monta Ellis has had an amazing year and this has really been the cherry on top.

Ellis is one of the top scorers in all of basketball and he took the Pacers out with this great shot. Everyone in the gym knew he was going to take the shot and he still drained it with less than a second to go in the game.

You have to love the Golden State crowd too.

No. 4: New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics

22 of 25

This was one of the games that was supposed show how the Knicks were back.

The Boston Celtics didn't buy into that, or the fact that there was a rivalry between the Celtics and the Knicks. Paul Pierce helped put the Knicks down with another clutch shot in a storied career and a last-second three-point shot by Amar'e Stoudemire was waved off at the end.

It was an amazing game.

No. 3: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New Jersey Nets

23 of 25

The Thunder got a big win without Kevin Durant in the lineup, but it wasn't easy.

Anthony Morrow hit a monster three-ball at the buzzer to send the game to overtime, but Russell Westbrook was just too much for New Jersey in triple overtime. Oklahoma City got to triple overtime after being fouled on a three-pointer in the waning moments.

It was a back-and-forth game and a total thriller.

No 2: Sacramento Kings vs. Memphis Grizzlies

24 of 25

Now this was just a crazy game.

It went back and forth in the final seconds, but it took a halfcourt buzzer-beater to give the Kings a big win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Tyreke Evans has had a down year and has struggled with injuries, but this was a monster performance.

It has to be deflating to be a Grizzlies fan, though. So much for having it in the bag.

No. 1: Utah Jazz vs. Miami Heat

25 of 25

The Miami Heat were on the receiving end of one of the most amazing performances of the year.

Paul Millsap scored 11 points in 28 seconds to help send the Jazz to overtime, where Utah beat the Miami Heat in a stunning win. Utah was down big in this game (surprise, surprise) and Millsap destroyed the Heat all game long.

It exposed the lack of size Miami has in the frontcourt.
