Lakers vs. Clippers: 10 Reasons Blake Griffin Is the Most Exciting Player in LA

After sitting out all of last year, Blake Griffin is making his presence known around the league. The No. 1 overall pick in 2009, Griffin sure is exciting to watch. 

His high-flying enthusiasm thrills the crowds and pack the seats of arenas around the country.

Everybody wants to watch this guy play. 

With Griffin you know you're watching a player give 100 percent every time he steps foot on the court. You know you're going to see something special. Griffin has fans on the edge of their seats every time he touches the ball. 

Here are ten reasons Griffin is now the most exciting player in Los Angeles.   

10. His Youth

At the age of 21, Griffin is one of the many young stars of the NBA.

He has a long career ahead of him. 

Griffin is one of a few young guys on the Clippers roster and his youth has sparked some exciting play from his teammates. 

Clippers fans hope he stays on their team for a long time.

Blake Griffin loves basketball. It's easy to see that Griffin gives it his all every game.

He hustles on every play and just wants so bad to win. The Clippers have been close in just about every game.

That's all due to Griffin.

Let's face it, the Clippers are a losing franchise. Heck, people even think there's a curse that is tagged with the franchise.

This day in age in the NBA there are quite a few players who only care about themselves.

Griffin is not a selfish player. 

He plays defense and hustles on every play. And in the last five games Griffin is averaging over four assists a game.

Griffin is second on his team in scoring, averaging averages 22 points a game. 

He also hits his free throws, shooting 60 percent from the line. 

Griffin puts points on the board and is the reason the Clippers are competitive in every game.

Griffin puts up a double-double just about every game. In fact he's had 25 consecutive double-doubles.

He averages 12 rebounds a game—that's good enough for top five in the league. 

The bulk of his rebounds come on the defensive end but he fights for boards on the offensive side as well.

Blake Griffin is electrifying. And because of that, fans want to see him—not just at home either. 

When Griffin hits the road fans pack out arenas to see his high-flying theatrics.

Griffin truly is outstanding to watch.  

Local telecasts of the Clippers are 65 percent higher than last season. Also, in-game attendance at the Staples Center is up by 16,000.
