Yes, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James will be the main reasons the Heat win an NBA championship this season or next season... or both.

This is still a team that has won 21 out of its last 23 games and has three of the game's top-10 players all in the prime of their careers.

Barring a series of unfortunate and debilitating injuries, the Heat are a team that should be feared much more often than it should be doubted this decade.

It is understandable to want to see the Heat lose. LeBron James' decision was an egotistical and indelible disaster for Cleveland Cavaliers fans.

The Big Three put a spotlight on itself before even stepping foot on the court.

On top of that mountain of goodness, it seems like there could have been a certain degree of collusion between Wade, James and Bosh to end up on the same team in 2010.

Right now, being a Miami Heat fan is similar to being a New York Yankees fan, except not even the Yankees have ever had a free agency as lucrative as the 2010 Summer.

The season is almost halfway done and the Heat has not lived up to expectations. Even though they are the No. 1 seed in the East and are on pace to win approximately 60 games or more.

Much like baseball, the NBA season is a marathon, not a sprint. The Heat started sluggishly in the first quarter vs. the Clippers. Heat fans should accept that their South Beach juggernaut will have to take some games off during the regular season in order to be fresh for the playoffs.

Heat fans should accept that everyone who is not a legitimate Heat fan or bandwagoner will take advantage of opportunity to hate on the best team in the East.

Heat fans should understand that the Boston Celtics and their older legs are the biggest roadblock to the NBA Finals.

Yes, losing regular season games will happen.

No, this is not a time to panic.
