They way this season is going, we are headed in to one of the most interesting playoffs we had since the Los Angeles Lakers met the Boston Celtics in the 80's.

Boston Celtic's and the Miami Heat in the East and the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles  Lakers in the West.

Also you cannot count out the "new" Orlando Magic in the east and the Dallas Mavericks in the west.

Also there are some more teams that can but up a good fight in the playoffs, check out some details and facts

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics one of the "surprise"s of the season. The Celtics are the second best team in the league today, playing like in their champion year 2008, very strong defense.  They are not the "big three" anymore, there are more like the "big five".  The way Rajon Rondo in playing he is no doubt an all-star, he's playing at an MVP level and no doubt at the moment he is the best point guard in the NBA today.

Shaquille O'Neal is having a good season as well, defending the middle and scoring when need. The Celtics also have a good back center in Glan Davis.  Davis is a fighter and a hard worker and he's giving the Celtics what they need. Of course also Jermaine O'Neal is a third backup that gives the Celtic's a very deep bench.

If Kevin Garnet, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo  stay healthy, then the Celtic's will be the top contender in the east.

Rajon Rondo: Rondo has gone for 9.8 assists a game to 13.5.

,  Ray Allen: Allen is shooting from down town 45%   in Bostons championship season he was shooting 40%

Kevin Garnett: Garnett is grabbing 9.5 rebounds a game, in the Celtics championship season he grabbed only 9.2 (in between, 7.5 and 8.2), helps a lot.

Glan Davis: Davis is the big change, from 6.3 points a game to 12.3. from 3.8 rebounds a game to 5.4.

Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic just had a major face-lift, or better yet "plastic surgery".

They just built a new contender over night.

Having shooters like Jason Richardson, Gilbert Arenas, J.J Redick and Hedo Turkoglu around the best big man in the league, Dwight Howard, makes them a deadly combination. The Team has one of the best offense out there today, and have Howard in the middle automatically gives them good defense.

Also having Arenas backing up a great point guard like Jameer Nelson just shows how good they are.

I'm sure that Arenas would like to prove that he still has game.

I'm sure the current nine game winning streak is just the beginning.

Hedo Turkoglu: Since Hedo cam back to the Orlando he's Magic came back, from scoring only 9.5 with the Phoenix Suns he is now scoring 12.5. Also, he is now dishing out a carrier high 6.5 assists a game. Hedo is also taking 5.4 rebounds a game, the only time he did better then that was in 2007/08.

Dwight Howard: Howard is scoring a carrier high 21.2 points a game

Jameer Nelson: Nelson is dishing a carrier record of 6.6 assists a game

J.J Redick: J.J is hitting a carrier high 42% from behind the arc, and 45% from the field. He also has a carrier high 10.1 points a game.

Miami Heat

This offseason all eyes were on the Miami Heat's big three. Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

They began with a very slow start, having a record of 9-8.

but then they realized that there talent alone wouldn't do it  so they started to play like they should have from the beginning. T

hey realized that they  don't have the players that do all the "dirty work"  like grabbing rebounds and playing defense, diving for loss balls…etc. So they started doing it, and the results are amazing,  they are winnings games like champs, they improved their defense, and Wade has taken the leadership back and the team has turned around.

Miami is now what all thought they would be, a top contender for the title.

Fact: the "big three" came down from the cloud  they were on and started giving credit to the other players on the team.

Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, did not save any money on this year's team, making sure that the franchise player Dirk Nowitzki would stay and be happy.

The Mav's brought in defensive center Tyson Chandler that has been grabbing nine board a game, and a backup center Brendan Haywood. This covers this middle better than most teams in the league.

Also add defensive player Shawn Marion and veteran point guard Jason kidd, and Caron Butler and backup Jason Terry, the Mav's can make a good run.

The also have the best record on the road, losing on two out fourteen on the road.

The Mav's have the best road record, losing only 2 out of there fourteen games on the road.

Tyson Chandler: Chandler is onlt turning over the ball 1.17 a game, a carrier low. He is also scoring nine points a game and grabbing 9.3 boards, the most in the best four years.

San Antonio Spurs

This season has opened with many surprises. But the big one is The San Antonio Spurs, the best team in the league today is playing like a will oiled machine, just playing perfect basketball.

There all-star Tim Duncan is not scoring as much or rebounding as much as in the past but he knows how to do the small things that make the deference.

Manu Ginobili is playing at an all-star level, scoring 18.7 a game and hitting the game shots when need. He has been taking  responsibility as any all-star would do.

    There experience has shown.

and in case anyone forgot, the Spurs are second this decade in championships (Lakers 5, Spurs 3, not including 1999).

Tim Duncan: Duncan is have a carrier low in scoring and rebounds (RPG 9.3, PPG 13.6). He's minutes are also down to 29.3 a game

Manu Ginobili: Ginobili is scoring a carrier high 19 points a game.

Richard Jefferson: RJ is having a carrier best shooting average from down town, 42.2

Los Angeles Lakers

How can we not talk about the Los Angeles Lakers, the two time champions, Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol, and the most decorated coach in the NBA, Phil Jackson.

The Lakers are off to a bad start (even though 27-11), but as we all know Kobe is Kobe and he knows how to bring it when needed.

Also Gasol knows when it's time to "pick it up" and when "push come to shove" the Lakers know how to get  to the gold.

We should also add Ron Artest that if they Lakers meet the Heat in the finals he will take it personally and prove that his the best defender in the NBA and make Jame's time a living hell.

Add also a health Andrew Bynum and the Lakers will be back on track in no time

And like always, when Lamar Odem plays good the Lakers usually win.

They have five championships in the past decade, and are the current champions!

The Title Goes Too???

There are many teams that are playing good basketball but I don't see the them getting past the semi finals. Put they will put on a good "fight". Teams like the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Utah Jazz Oklahoma City Thunders, New Orleans Hornets, and maybe a few more will put on a good fight .

But at the end, the way it looks now, we will have a Celtic vs Heat Eastern conference finals and a Lakers vs Spurs Western conference finals, which teams will be at the NBA Final?

Doesn't really matter, the six teams a listed would make the finals amazing.
