NBA Trade Rumors: Who Lands 10 Players Most Useful for NBA Title Chase?
The rumors continue to swirl about who could be moving in the NBA.
With the trading deadline looming, players like Carmelo Anthony, OJ Mayo, Steve Nash and Andre Iguodala are among those being mentioned. Some teams have already made other trades that have set them up for blockbusters, and other teams are denying plans to ship their stars away.
That was the case Tuesday night as 'Melo and the Denver Nuggets both denied he was being shipped to the New Jersey Nets.
"I'm in good spirits right now. Nothing is affecting me," Anthony said to the Denver Post. "I've been hearing rumors all summer...since last year. My mind is clear, I'm here, having a very Melo Christmas."
Let's go ahead and go for it, though. Here are 10 players who could be up for grabs:
10. G Baron Davis, Clippers

Prediction: Cleveland
He's dealt with injuries, and this could be worked out if the Cavaliers swap Mo Williams for Davis, who could finally be away from owner Donald Sterling.
9. G OJ Mayo, Grizzlies

Prediction: Atlanta
If they lose Jamal Crawford, he would be a nice replacement off the bench. Rumors have been flying that he could head to New York, but there are questions about whether he could hurt the team's chemistry.
8. G Mo Williams, Cavaliers

Prediction: Clippers
He's been upset since LeBron left Cleveland. He could make a good combination with Eric Bledsoe. Throw Leon Powe into this deal, and he could provide depth behind Chris Kaman.

Prediction: Chicago
He is streaky, but dangerous if he gets in a rhythm. Him and George Karl have had their problems, but would give the Bulls a great shooter off the bench.
6. F Zach Randolph, Grizzlies

Prediction: Toronto
He's in the final year of a contract, and is set to make $17.3 million this season. Randolph would give the Raptors great interior scoring and help them with rebounding.

Prediction: Orlando
Orlando gets a great outside shooter, and Nash forms a dangerous scoring combo with Dwight Howard. He also gets one last shot at a title.
4. F Eddy Curry, Knicks

Prediction: 76ers
He's got a big contract, and could be among those players New York could package if it decides to pick up a player like Andre Iguodala.
3. G Chauncey Billups, Nuggets

Prediction: Oklahoma City
A lot of this hinges on what Carmelo does. Billups is currently out with a wrist injury, and has said he would like to stay in Denver. But a move like this would help give the Thunder another scoring option, and a veteran who's got tons of playoff experience.
2. G/F Andre Iguodala, 76ers

Whoever gets him would also have to take Elton Brand. Iguodala is due $56.5 million over the next four years, but would help New York defensively.

The Knicks have been mentioned also, but the Nets are positioning themselves to make a run at 'Melo. And he would be a face for the franchise when it moves to Brooklyn.
