NBA Trade Rumors: Where Will Carmelo Anthony End Up?
The Carmelo Anthony rumors are now at fever pitch with talks about a contract extension now surfacing.
But where will that extension be?
With the Denver Nuggets? With the New Jersey Nets? With the New York Knicks?
With Sunday's latest word from Anthony, it seems like we are a lot closer to a conclusion.
Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets now seem like the team least likely to land Anthony.
Anthony has informed the Nuggets that the only way he will be signing a long-term deal is with another team.
Knowing that, the Nuggets best move is to try and get some valuable pieces in return rather than let Anthony leave through free agency.
The Nuggets have shown interest in the Knicks rookie shooting guard Landry Fields, and forward Danilo Gallinari.
They would also likely get a first round pick in any deal that sent 'Melo to New York.
New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets are seemingly out of the Anthony competition.
But, don't let that make you think they will stop trying.
The Nets desperately want to have a superstar on their team, and have shown they are willing to do just about anything to get one.
Unfortunately for them, no one has wanted to play for them.
That should change once they move to Brooklyn and closer to the limelight.
The Nets are offering the Nuggets a much sweeter package, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy, and two first round picks, so don't be surprised if the Nuggets general manager tries to get Anthony interested in the Nets.
New York Knicks

According to ESPN 'Melo has said that he will only sign an extension with the New York Knicks.
Now its just a waiting game.
The Knicks will have to make some roster moves first in order to get the pieces necessary to bring Anthony to New York.
One of the key demands of the Nuggets is a first round pick, and the Knicks will need to acquire one first in order to make this trade happen.
When Anthony visited New York with the Nuggets on Sunday he received a standing ovation when his name was announced.
Anthony also told stories of how New Yorkers went out of their way to tell him that they needed him.
If Anthony were to join the Knicks he would be joining one of the league's hottest teams, with the league's hottest player, Amar'e Stoudemire.
Once you see the Knicks start making moves, it wont be long before Anthony heads east.
And when he does, the Knicks will be back as one of the east's best teams. Anyone else looking forward to a renewed Heat-Knicks rivalry?
