Updated Fantasy Football Rankings at Week 13: Top 80 WRs for the Rest of 2010
Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd is probably the most unexpected fantasy start this season, but he is now ranked 4th on the wide receiver rankings going forward. Lloyd has been the favorite target of the NFL’s leading passer, Kyle Orton, and leads the league in receiving yardage on the year. No one would have expected this going into the year, but isn’t that what fantasy football is all about?
Another surprise standout has been Kansas City Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe, who now leads the league in receiving touchdowns with 14—three more than anyone else in the league. Bowe’s amazing emergence has gone together with excellent play from his quarterback, Matt Cassel. Bowe’s impressive streak has him on pace for over 20 touchdowns and has him moving up six spots to 7th among receivers going forward.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Everyone’s favorite breakout player, Steve Johnson of the Buffalo Bills, moves up to 13th this week. Johnson dropped what would have been a game-winning touchdown pass against the Steelers and had a horrible day with drops overall on Sunday, but there is no doubt that the Bills trust him as their top receiver and they have been passing the ball at a surprisingly impressive pace. Johnson has caught three or more passes in every game this season and is tied for third in the league with nine touchdown receptions.
One of the biggest fallers this week is Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald who, through no fault of his own, had his fantasy value fall apart last week with a horrendous performance from quarterback Derek Anderson. Anderson’s post-game tirade will be the thing that everyone remembers, but the fact that he was so incredibly unproductive was what fantasy owners should be worried about. Fitzgerald, one of the league’s most talented receivers, caught just four passes for 37 yards in a game when the Cardinals needed their passing game the most.
Another big faller this week is Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who has to be considered one of the biggest fantasy disappointments of the season. With just two 100-yard games and only one touchdown reception, Marshall is now missing games with a hamstring injury. Though he is expected to play this Sunday, he will be slowed and he hasn’t been a very good fantasy player anyway. He falls all the way down to 28th among wide receivers going forward—just three spots ahead of teammate Davone Bess.
