Is Lamar Odom All-Star Worthy?

Regnard RaquedanNov 19, 2010

Is Lamar Odom an All-Star this season?

It's asking whether a player that averages 15 points, 10 rebounds, and close to four assists deserves a slot in the team. But Odom brings more than just the tangible numbers into the table.

Odom has been model of consistency for the Los Angeles Lakers in the first dozen games of the 2010-2011 season. His effort on the offensive end has gotten people to appreciate an aspect of his game that seemed to diminish in the last three seasons. He's shooting a career best 58 percent from the field and he has been crashing the offensive boards more than ever in his career.

If you ask me, Odom should be in the team, provided that he continues his level of play till February. But with center Andrew Bynum slated to return towards the end of the year, Odom's place in the All-Star team is still good as vapor.
