People take their sports teams seriously.  So much so they become really annoying when they root for their favorite teams.

Sometimes, however, it's not necessarily what they say or what they do.  It's more about who they are that gets on people's nerves.

I'm talking to you, Mr. Bieber.

Here are the 25 most annoying sports fans.

25. Tom Cruise—Los Angeles Lakers Fan

1 of 25

A fine actor he may be.

But he's also quite quirky. He's got a reputation in Hollywood for being one of the weirdest around.

Weird can turn into annoying in no time.

You can only imagine what people are thinking when he's at Lakers games.

24. Rick Fox—Los Angeles Lakers Fan

LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 19: Former NBA star Rick Fox and actress Eliza Dushku watch the Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns in Game Two of the Western Conference Finals during the 2010 NBA Playoffs at Staples Center on May 19, 2010 in Los Angeles, Cal

Fox is a three-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers.  He has been retired from the league and has recently been a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

The sight of the 41-year-old with the beautiful 29-year-old Eliza Dushku at basketball games just doesn't sit well with your average Joe sports fan.

    Darn you, Rick!

23. Khloe Kardashian—Los Angeles Lakers Fan and Wife

3 of 25

The Kardashians are reality show superstars.

The Lakers are the gem of Los Angeles.

Now we've got Khloe, a Kardashian married to a Laker.  That's not necessarily an equation for immediate likability.

Even sitting courtside rooting for hubby Lamar Odom, people have little love for Khloe.

22. Grown Ups Cast at Laker Game

4 of 25

Wow. What a coincidence.  Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James and Adam Sandler all sitting together taking in a basketball game.

This a case of Hollywood actors going to a game just to be seen.

The four are obviously there to promote their movie Grown Ups and not just there to watch the game.

21. Snoop Dogg—Bandwagon Warriors Fan

5 of 25

Lifelong Los Angeles Lakers fan suddenly jumped on the Warriors bandwagon in 2007 when the Warriors went on an impressive first round run that eliminated the Dallas Mavericks.

    Where's the loyalty, Snoop?

20. Tom Brady—Los Angeles Lakers Fan

6 of 25

New England Patriots quarterback and Boston sports legend Tom Brady angered many Celtics supporters after he gave Kobe Bryant a congratulatory hug after the Lakers just defeated the Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Brady was seen getting lovey-dovey with Bryant in the middle of the Boston Garden.

Obviously Bostonian's were annoyed.  To make matters worse, Brady was sitting courtside next to Kobe's dad, Jellybean Bryant.

19. Floyd Mayweather—Los Angeles Lakers Fan

7 of 25

The guy has a mouth that keeps on running.

Some may love his boxing skills.  But he's losing fans for being annoying, a racist and attacking his ex-girlfriend.

18. Lindsay Lohan—Sports Fan

8 of 25

Lindsay's had well-document struggles with drugs and alcohol.

She's always on news because she's breaking the law or going to jail.

They talk about her so much that people are tired of hearing about her.

17. Lady Gaga—Baseball Fan

9 of 25

Gaga wasn't on her best behavior as she took on a game between the New York Mets and the San Diego Padres.

Apparently unhappy with her seat, behind home plate, she asked to be moved.

As Mets fans showered her with boo's in Citi Field, the underwear-clad Gaga decided to flip them the bird.

16. Russell Brand—West Ham United Fan

10 of 25

Either you find this guy annoying or hilarious.

    There's really no in between.

Brand has been a well-known supporter of the soccer team.

15. Drew Carey—Cleveland Indians

11 of 25

In some ways, Carey is kind of like LeBron James.

He left the city for a much bigger market.

Carey departed his city of Cleveland to become the host of "The Price is Right" in Los Angeles.

Since then, he's rarely been around to show support for his Cleveland sports teams.

    Where's the love, Drew?

14. Kim Kardashian—Sports Fan

When you date professional football players and your sister is married to a Los Angeles Laker, you end up going to many sporting events.

Kardashian has taken in quite a few games during her time.

Kim's in the spotlight 24/7; plenty of people are sick of her.

13. Jack Nicholson—Los Angeles Lakers Fan

13 of 25

    Everyone love Jack.

Well, that's not necessarily true.  Almost everyone in LA loves Jack.

Outsiders on the other hand, sometimes find him annoying. He's been known to get on the case of referees and even jar with opposing coaches.

12. Spike Lee—New York Knicks Fan

14 of 25

Reggie Miller and Spike Lee had one of the most memorably athlete-fan feuds during the 90s.

Spike, a diehard New York Knicks fan, always made sure to harass players from the Knicks' Eastern Conference rivals—the Indiana Pacers.

Most of the time, he had to get in the nerves of their star player, Reggie Miller.

11. LeBron James—New York Yankees Fan

15 of 25

The sight of LeBron James donning a black Yankees baseball cap angered Cleveland Indians supporters as the Ohio-raised James came out to root for New York during the 2007 ALDS.

Loyalty is obviously not one of LeBron's best traits as he has since left the Cavaliers for a chance to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat.

10. Yabba—Cricket and Rugby

16 of 25

Yabba was an Australian fan of cricket and rugby early in the 20th century.

His fame grew so much that there is now a statue erected to commemorate the famous heckler.

When spectators were mostly quiet, Yabba's cheers and jeers echoed in stadiums.

One of his most popular phrases was, "I wish you were a statue and I were a pigeon."

9. Bleacher Creatures—New York Yankees

17 of 25

Meet the New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures.

Their roll call at the beginning of every game includes getting in the nerves of the opponents outfielder.

8. Jessica Simpson at Dallas Cowboys Games

18 of 25

She may be a celebrity but she wasn't received warmly by Dallas Cowboys fans.

In 2007, then-boyfriend Tony Romo and Simpson were reportedly vacationing in Mexico before a big playoff game.  When Romo returned and the Dallas football team lost to the New York Giants, Simpson was blamed for the defeat.

She's been a hated figure in Cowboys history ever since.

7. Robert Szasz—Tampa Bay Devil Rays Fan

19 of 25

They call him the "Happy Heckler."  Szasz is a frequent fixture at Tampa Bay home games and chooses to heckle only one player from the opposing team.

He follows a strict rule of not using any profanity and keeping his remarks to only baseball, nothing personal.

But his voice is loud that he can sometimes be heard during television broadcasts.

6. Matthew Clemens—Philadelphia Phillies Fan

20 of 25

Philly fans are brutal.  Sometimes they'll forget about home-town allegiance and go ahead and boo their own.

Matthew Clemmens did exactly that and turned on his own as he allegedly provoked himself to vomit all over an off-duty police officer and his family.

And they call it the city of brotherly love.

5. Green Men—Vancouver Canucks Fans

21 of 25

The Green Men from Vancouver have taken being annoying to a completely different level.

They heckle the heck out of opposing players as they sit in the penalty box.

4. Bleacher Bums at Wrigley Field—Chicago Cubs Fans

22 of 25

The Cubbies have fans that are infamous for throwing baseballs back on the field from opponents' home runs.

But sometimes they get even more annoying and throw trash on the field.  Like in this video when they literally littered Wrigley with all sorts of trash.

3. Cameron Crazies—Duke Fans

23 of 25

Only in Cameron will the fanbase make it feel like there is an earthquake going on.

This is insanely fun and entertaining if you're a fan, but clearly annoying if you're the visiting team.

2. Robin Ficker—Heckler

24 of 25

Ficker is a proud sports fan, especially of the former Washington Bullets.

In 1993, during the NBA Finals when the Phoenix Suns played the Chicago Bulls he was flown over to Phoenix by Charles Barkley and seated behind the Bulls bench, with the intention that he could get in the nerves of the Chicago players.

1. Justin Bieber

No disrespect to you, young Bieber, but that's not your ring.

    Give it back!

When Bieber asked Jeanie Buss to see Phil Jackson's ring during the Lakers ring ceremony, she couldn't say no.

    That 16-year-old's got some charm.
