Los Angeles Lakers: Ranking the Stars On Hand for 2010 Opening Night
The Los Angeles Lakers had plenty of stars in attendance on Tuesday night when they received their NBA Championship rings from commissioner David Stern.
Among the brightest stars in the crowd was everybody's favorite 16-year-old, Justin Bieber.
The singing sensation and aspiring rapper even got his hands on the Lakers' bling courtesy of Jeanie Buss, who let Bieber wear her 65-year-old boyfriend's championship ring.
Should Phil Jackson be worried?
Here's a look at the old and the young celebrities who filled the seats at the Staples Center last night.
Honorable Mention: Lou Adler
1 of 11
Where there's Jack, there's record producer Lou Adler.
Lou was on hand Tuesday night in his customary spot next to Jack sporting his trademark spectacles.
It's always fun to have a friend tag along, no matter how damn old you are.
No. 10: Jimmy Iovine
2 of 11
Jimmy Iovine, the chairman of Interscope Records, was in attendance last night trying to recruit some young talent.
I wonder if he has enough money in the bank to lure Bieber to his label?
No. 8: Jaden Smith
3 of 11
Apparently Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber are besties.
The two spent the night enjoying the basketball action and checking out the babes they will be old enough to date in a few years.
Based on the reviews of Karate Kid, Jaden has a ways to go before he will pass Denzel on this list.
No. 9: Khloe Kardashian
4 of 11
Khloe Kardashian watched hubby Lamar Odom get his ring Tuesday night.
In this day and age, being in a reality show makes you a huge star.
Even if that reality show also features Bruce Jenner.
No. 7: Kevin Connolly
5 of 11
It was a night of friendship at the Staples Center Tuesday.
Kevin Connolly, the star of Entourage, hung out with buddy Leonardo DiCaprio courtside and watched Luke Walton and the other Lakers' emotional introductions of their teammates.
It must be breathtaking to see Luis Scola play in person.
No. 6: Snoop Dogg
6 of 11
Snoop was in attendance last night to help bask in the Lakers' Championship glory.
With talent like Iovine's 50 Cent and the pasty Bieber coming up in the game, Snoop might want to start thinking about dropping a new album.
No. 5: David Beckham
7 of 11
David Beckham is bigger than Snoop?
There's a reason why the millions who hate soccer know who Beckham is.
Beckham spent time chatting with Bieber last night, most likely passing on his trade secrets when it comes to courting the ladies.
Or was he telling him how to trick people into believing you are really good at something?
Time will tell.
No. 4: Leonardo DeCaprio
8 of 11
Leo and Kevin Connolly are regulars at Lakers games, so it was no surprise to see them in attendance for the festivities.
Based on his performance in Inception, Leo is moving closer and closer to the top of this esteemed list.
No. 3: Denzel Washington
9 of 11
Based on Denzel's latest role in another movie where he saves the day while looking like a badass, he had better watch his back.
It might be time to try something else.
Then again, it's tough to argue with his body of work.
Hopefully he gave young Jaden some acting tips.
No. 2: Justin Bieber
10 of 11You really gotta hand it to Justin Bieber.
He has managed to take the world by storm while singing cheesy pop songs, dissing Tom Brady and becoming coveted by women everywhere.
That includes Jeanie Buss.
At this rate, Justin will have enough money to buy the Lakers from Jeanie's daddy in about 10 years.
No. 1: Jack
11 of 11
The youth movement is coming, but for now Jack remains king of the Lakers' celebrity fans.
Amidst all the glitz and the glamor and the bandwagon fans, Jack has been there.
He knows the game, and he deserves your respect.
That means you, Justin.
