How the Miami Heat's LeBron James Can Repair His Image Outside of Miami

The ultimate resolution for LeBron James’ tainted image and reputation is for him to have success on the court with the Miami Heat.
The bottom-line is, all LeBron needs to worry about right now is winning basketball games. He doesn’t need to worry about what the media thinks about him, and especially he doesn’t need to be concerned with what the fans outside of Miami think about him.
The cure which any competent doctor would prescribe right now is a successful regular season, and a successful postseason run.
As you most likely remember, his image has been damaged due to the fact that he infuriated many basketball fans this summer with the PR nightmare orchestrated by his unqualified and incompetent entourage.
The most important aspect from all of this scrutiny and criticism is that the backlash has nothing at all to do with his basketball talents. Is the criticism merited? I believe it certainly is. Now has the outrage been completely blown out of proportion by basketball drama queens like Charles Barkley? You better believe it.
So what if LeBron is an egotist and a narcissist? The egotistical characteristic applies to many other professional athletes who have never had to deal with the same type of outrageous and unwarranted attacks as LeBron has been forced to deal with.
Furthermore, we all know that James has a special combination of size, speed, and quickness that is unrivaled in the NBA today. There is no denying his talent and ability. He is arguably the best player in the NBA today, and possibly even the best player in the entire world.
The fact is, LeBron has a great opportunity to lose himself and get back into the zone of playing the game of basketball.
In my opinion, the best thing he could do for his public image is to just stop talking and to focus on playing the game. He needs to stop making excuses such as when he used the race card last week to explain the public outrage.
Therefore, LeBron should show the fans and the media his love, passion, and intensity for the game of basketball. This could ultimately improve his public image in the long term. Also, maybe he could even consider getting rid of some of the knuckleheads from his inner circle as well.
