2010 Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Shooting Guards

Ryan LesterSep 28, 2010

Here’s a look at my 2010-11 fantasy shooting guard rankings.

  1. Dwyane Wade:  Still the top choice even with LeBron in South Beach.
  2. Kobe Bryant:  Will be motivated to take down Miami Thrice.
  3. Andre Iguodala:  All-around threat.
  4. Tyreke Evans:  Virtual lock for 20-5-5.
  5. Brandon Roy:  No weaknesses.
  6. Joe Johnson:  Mr. Consistent (during regular season anyways)
  7. Monta Ellis:  Can stuff the stat sheet when healthy.
  8. Paul Pierce:  Numbers tailed off a bit, but still steady.
  9. Stephen Jackson:  Was a force for Charlotte.
  10. Jason Richardson:  Will have to pick up some slack with Amar’e gone.
  11. Kevin Martin:  When healthy he can score in bunches.
  12. Manu Ginobili:  Great all-around game.
  13. Gilbert Arenas:  Should pile up the points once again.
  14. O.J. Mayo:  Took a slight step back, but talent is there.
  15. Eric Gordon:  Team USA helped him grow. Look for 18+ppg.
  16. Caron Butler:  Numbers tailed off, but still solid producer.
  17. Ray Allen:  Big help in FT percentage and threes.
  18. Marcus Thornton:  Chance to thrive alongside CP3.
  19. Jamal Crawford:  Points and threes.  Little else.
  20. Vince Carter:  3/4 man, 1/4 amazing, but still real good.
  21. Jason Terry:  Consistent PG/SG depth.
  22. John Salmons:  Returned to form in Milwaukee.
  23. Evan Turner:  Rookie should be solid for Philly.
  24. Mike Miller:  Should produce in all categories.
  25. Trevor Ariza:  Should flourish playing with Chris Paul.
