Report: Chris Richards & Kyle Weaver invited to training camp

Hardcourt MayhemSep 27, 2010

According to KC Johnson from his twitter account, that both Chris Richards and Kyle Weaver will be in the Bulls training camp joining with Brian Scalabrine, Roger Powell, and John Lucas III for the final three roster spots.

"

Roger Powell, Kyle Weaver, Chris Richard, John Lucas and Brian Scalabrine in Bulls camp for 3 roster spots.

"

I do not see Chris Richard make the team, the Chicago Bulls already filled at the center position that is ahead of him with Joakim Noah, Kurt Thomas, and Omer Asik. There is no room for him on the team, however I could see what happen last year that he gets cut sent to the d-league and teams maybe the Bulls pick him for insurance if there is an injury.

As for Kyle Weaver, I do prefer Ime Udoka over him but I do not mind giving Kyle Weaver a shot he is 6’6 shooting guard who also play some small forward. Problem is that he doesn’t shoot the three efficiently well but at the same time he does not get much playing time his NBA career so far.

I could only see maybe two players make the two spot, it is possible that the Chicago Bulls may leave one spot open for the rest of the season just in case they may make a move or pick up someone for a ten-day contract if needed. I could see John Lucas III and Brian Scalabrine get the two final roster spots. Training camp for the Chicago Bulls will start tomorrow any new information regarding training camp I will keep you post so stay tuned!
