Trade Details:

Houston Loses: Trevor Ariza
New Jersey Addition: Troy Murphy
New Jersey Loses: Courtney Lee
How this impacts each team:
Hornets
Ariza with his 4 year deal remaining on his $35 million dollar contract while sending away their primarily backup guard Darren Collison and Posey. This to me is a last ditch effort by the Hornets to convince Chris Paul to stay. Trading Collison is also a indicator that they are absolutely not going to trade CP3. They also free up some cap space trading Posey with his remaining 2 year and roughly 13 million dollar deal.
Indiana
I feel this was a great pickup for the Pacers. Getting a talented young point guard like Collison is a great start for this rebuilding Pacers team. Absorbing Posey's contract will hurt but with only two years remaining its not so bad. Losing Murphy will hurt as he was the Pacer's second leading scorer and leading rebounder.
Houston
Looks to primarily a salary cap move for the Rockets trading away Ariza long term contract for Lee's shorter and cheaper contract. Also getting a $6 million dollar trade exception.
New Jersey Nets
I feel this was a great move by the Nets. Murphy is a solid shooter and rebounder and with only one year left on his $11.9 million dollar contract, even if he doesn't work out he opens up a lot of salary cap space for them next summer. One downside is that Murphy may take away playing time from rookie Flavors however, I see that as a minor issue.
