
Jim Brown Shares Same Astrological Sign With 10 Other "Greatest"
Do you believe in astrology? You might after reading this.
The eleventh sign of the zodiac, Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18), includes a list of the greatest athletes in the history of sports.
And describing Aquarians as "the Greatest" is really not enough. They are the absolute very best.
Coincidence or is it in the stars?
The following is a list of the world's greatest athletes—all Aquarians.
11. Greg Louganis: Diving, Born: Jan 29, 1960

Considered the greatest diver of all time.
He is best known for winning back-to-back Olympic titles in both the 3m and 10m diving events.
He received the James E Sullivan Award from the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) in 1984 as the most outstanding amateur athlete in the United States.
10. Mark Spitz: Swimming, Born: Feb 10, 1950

Still considered the greatest swimmer by some.
He won seven gold medals at the Munich Olympics, an accomplishment only exceeded by Michael Phelps' eight at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing.
Spitz set 33 world records and was World Swimmer of the Year in 1969, 71, and 72.
9. Bill Tilden: Tennis, Born: Feb 10, 1893

Sill considered the greatest tennis player of all time.
He held the world's no. 1 ranking for seven years and won 138 of 192 tournaments.
His had an amazing match record of 907-62.
8. Jack Nicklaus: Golf, Born: Jan 21, 1940

Known as the "Golden Bear", he holds the record for winning 18 of golf's major championships.
Arrived on the golfing scene in 1962 and, along with Arnold Palmer, brought the sport of golf to television and forever changed the sport.
Still considered the greatest golfer of all time.
7. Wayne Gretzky: Hockey, Born:Jan 26, 1961

Simply known as "The Great One", he is considered the greatest player in the history of hockey.
He is the only player to score over 200 points in one season, which he did four times.
He was voted one of six players to the International Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Centennial All-Star team.
6. Lawrence Taylor: Football, Born: Feb 4, 1959

Known as the greatest defensive player in the history of the NFL.
Taylor played linebacker for the New York Giants for his entire 14 year career. During this time the Giants enjoyed great success, including two Super Bowl Championships.
Taylor won a record three Defensive Player of the Year Awards.
Taylor's highest sack total (20.5) came in 1986 and from 1984-90 he was always one of the league's sack leaders.
It was always difficult to judge what his season sack totals meant because he was double and triple covered on every play.
5. Hank Aaron: Baseball, Born:Feb 5, 1934

Still holds what most baseball enthusiasts consider the career home run record of 755. This number has no asterisk along side it!
Aaron played from 1954 through 1976. In 1999 the Sporting News voted him the fifth greatest baseball player of all time.
On his retirement Aaron held all-time records for home runs, rbi's, and extra base hits.
He is also in the top five for most hits and runs.
4. Bill Russell: Basketball, Born: Feb 12, 1934

The Greatest winner in the history of Sports. He led the Boston Celtics to 11 NBA Championships in 13 years.
As center of the Celtics, Russell won five NBA Most Valuable Player awards and was elected to 13 all-star games.
Known for defense, Russell is one of two players in NBA history to record over 50 rebounds in one game.
To some he is considered as good as anyone who ever played the game.
3. Jim Brown: Football, Born: Feb 17, 1936

Had nine year career with the Cleveland Browns and is, and was considered the greatest football player in the history of the NFL.
In 2002 Sporting News named him the greatest professional football player ever.
ESPN rated him no. 4 on their list of Top Athletes in the 20th Century.
Brown average 104 yards for every game in which he played. Barry Sanders is the only running back who came close to this number with 99.
Although Walter Payton and Emit Smith eventually gained more total yards than Brown, he is still considered far and away the greatest funner of all time.
2. Babe Ruth: Baseball, Born: Feb 6, 1895

Babe Ruth, "the Bambino", is considered the greatest baseball player of all time
Ranks no. 2 on ESPN's list of the 100 Greatest Athletes of the 20th Century.
In 1927, when he won the home run title with 60, he hit more home runs than any team.
Also know as the "Sultan of Swat", he arrived on the scene as a great pitcher but in 1919 was converted to a right fielder because of his hitting prowess.
In 1999 Sporting News called him the greatest baseball player ever.
Also know as a great American Hero, he played in Yankee Stadium, also affectionately known as "The House that Ruth Built".
1. Michael Jordan: Basketball, Born: Feb 17, 1963

Rated no. 1 on ESPN's list of Top 100 Athletes of the 20th Century, he is considered the greatest basketball player of all time.
Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA Championships while winning the league's Most Valuable Player Award five times.
Jordan played in 14 NBA All-Star games and was regarded as the player that kept the league going throughout the 1980's and 90's.
