Dan Gilbert, Be Quiet!

Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert has been on a media rampage since LeBron James announced he was leaving for South Beach.

Few could blame Gilbert for being a little upset since his only real shot at winning just walked out the door.

But Dan, going as far as calling your former first-round pick and franchise face a "former King" and his decision "cowardly betrayal?"

Well, that's just like a boy throwing a temper tantrum because his favorite toy was taken away.

LeBron James is the reason that the Cavs sold jerseys. LeBron James is the reason the Cavs sold out. LeBron James is the reason Dan Gilbert and the rest of his "hard-working, loyal, and driven staff" still have jobs.

Gilbert stated, "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE. You can take it to the bank."

Yeah, right.

I will take it to the bank that if the Cavaliers make the playoffs this season, IF, they will be seeded low and will be knocked out first round.

Also, saying that LeBron will be "taking the [Cleveland] 'curse' with him down south" is just plain ridiculous. Cleveland has not won a championship because they have not had the right mix yet.

The Black Sox "cursed" Chicago for how many decades? Oh, they won a World Series recently didn't they?

The "Curse of the Bambino" was plaguing the Red Sox for how long? Wait, they've won TWO World Series since 2004.

It's all about the right mix of players.

Anyway, it hasn't been that long for Cleveland.

The Arizona Cardinals, while established in Chicago in 1898, is a franchise that has not won a title since 1947.

Cubs fans have been waiting for over 100 years now.

I'm still wondering why Cleveland fans are complaining.
