King James in New York

Twitter usually isn't the best place to receive your sports information, but when two known athletes tweet just about the same thing before anyone else, it's hard not to believe them.

 

Chad Ochocinco reported today: "#OCNNBREAKINGNEWS *Empire State of Mind* *wink* *wink*only the smart folk will put this together and figure out what i am talking about #6"

This can mean only 2 things, Knicks or Nets.

 

Jared Dudley reported also: "Breaking News!!! My sources tell me LeBron will announce that he will be goin to the NY KNICKS tomorrow on ESPN.. This is serious.. WOW!!!!"

This can only mean one thing, Knicks.

 

Dudley was great friends with Amar'e Stoudemire when teammates on the Phoenix Suns last season, but we don't know for sure who his sources are. However,with what he said there is no reason not to believe him.

 

Greenwich, CT will be the place of LeBron James' 1 hour ESPN Special to report which team he will sign a contract with. It is located less then a half hour away from the practice facilities for the New York Knicks. So why would James waste an hour of TV time to report he's resigning with the Cavs? If he was, he would've done it most likely in his High School gym in Akron where most of his media coverage is held.

 

LeBron wants to win now, not in 2 or 3 years - NOW! His best chance is in New York with a supporting cast of Amar'e Stoudemire, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Toney Douglas, Bill Walker and a few new rookies LeBron's chances are better then anywhere else. The Knicks will go out and sign a true point guard to fill out their starting 5 and automatically put them in running to win the Eastern Conference. Plus with a well liked coached across the world, D'Antoni could be the coach LeBron always needed.

 

Of course all this is based on sources, and no one will know officially until the hour long special on ESPN tomorrow Thursday the 8th at 9pm EST. But for now all indications point to New York, New York!
