2010 NBA Free Agency: Bucks Sign Gooden, Magic Target Boozer?

The 2010 NBA Free Agency is roughly 10 hours in and only one player has signed a contract, Nikola Pekovic. But now roughly around 10:30, two more player signees have became official. 

Milwaukee Bucks Sign Drew Gooden, Opt To Keep Delfino

The Bucks have signed the first real free agent this summer, journey big man Drew Gooden, to a five year $32,000,000 contract. This now adds much needed depth for the Bucks up front, depending on how Bogut survives. As well the Bucks have decided to keep Carlos Delfino, and he will make around $3,500,000 next year. Back to Gooden, Gooden is a good pick up for the Bucks, he will come in and do some damage at both ends of the floor, and give you 13 points and 10 rebounds a night.

With regards to the Heat, they have been targeting Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers, and a first round pick. 

With the Bulls, the Raptors are targeting Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah. As for the Knicks, the Raptors are looking for their to be a double sign-and-trade where they both sign their star players, then swap them. So in this case, Bosh would head to New York, and the Raptors would get David Lee in return.

Rudy Gay To Meet With The Wolves

The Wolves have made it their priority this off-season to sign small forward Rudy Gay, and power forward David Lee. Gay will meet with the Wolves today, and Lee will meet with them over the weekend.

The Magic Are Targeting Boozer via Sign-and-Trade

The Magic are looking to paring up Carlos Boozer with Dwight Howard this coming season. The only way to do so is to do a sign-and-trade and offer players like Brandon Bass, Matt Barnes or JJ Redick. Adding Boozer could be a piece to the puzzle that the Magic are looking for, and it will allow Lewis to move back down to his natural position of the three spot.

New Jersey Nets Sign Pair Of Undrafted Rookies

The Nets have given contracts to two, undrafted rookies thus far. The first is to Ben Uzoh, who is a point guard out of Tulsa. And the second player to be signed was, Duke center Brian Zoubek. Who played a key role on Duke`s 2010 NCAA Championship team.

The Denver Nuggets Are Targeting Andris Biedrins

The Warriors are looking to shed Biedrins contract of $9,000,000, but all the Nuggets have to offer is JR Smith and Kenyon Martin.
