So we have officially entered the 2010 NBA Free Agency, and we are roughly 20 minutes in, and we already have some news.

The Atlanta Hawks Have Extended a Six-Year Max Contract to Joe Johnson

Just one minute into the morning the Hawks have placed a max contract of six years $120,000,000 on the table for Joe Johnson. The Atlanta Hawks are wasting no time in re-signing their top player from last year, and their main priority this off-season.

But, the question is, is Johnson worth a max contract, of roughly $20,000,000 a season for six more years that will bring him to his mid thirties?
