NBA Free Agency Rumors: LeBron James Free Agency Primer
With all of the hoopla surrounding where the tandem of LeBron James and Chris Bosh are headed, we are getting pointed in 500 different directions as possible landing spots where LeBron is all but signed to.
While NBA execs from New York and Miami still hold strong that they are going to be the final destination for the savior that is LeBron, unnamed source after unnamed source is naming Chicago as the final landing spot for LeBron and presumably Bosh as well.
It started a few days ago when Yahoo Sports said that World Wide Wes has been saying that LeBron and Bosh are both headed to Chicago and it was all but a done deal.
Then, yesterday, one NBA exec, who asked not to be named, stated that LeBron James was all but signed and that his meetings with other teams would only be a formality.
Of course, if you ask Stephen A. Smith, LeBron and Bosh are headed to Miami to team up with Dwyane Wade, this coming via Twitter.
With LeBron's Free Agency (it's no longer NBA free agency, as LeBron is the only one who matters) just two days away, we are very close to learning where he is going to land, and the only team without any inside sources confirming them as a destination is the New York Knicks, so they can be taken out of the running right now.
And let's be honest, after playing seven title-less seasons in Cleveland, chances are he won't want to return there, although some aren't ruling out the possibility.
But in all likelihood, this is a two-man race.
Does LeBron want to go to Chicago to team up with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah and attempt to overshadow the greatest basketball player in history?
Or does he head to Miami to join Dwayne Wade and soak up that Florida sun all year round?
These questions are close to being answered, and the hype is bigger than any summer blockbuster has ever mustered up.
We will all be on the edge of our seats waiting for the answer, and nobody is ruling out a surprise twist ending (Atlanta Hawks anybody?).
But now it's time for you to speak out, where do you think that LeBron James will land? My prediction is Chicago, but I'm also completely biased. Leave your prediction in the comment section.
