Breaking News: Corey Maggette + #44 To Bucks For Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell
So this might not be the most appealing trade of Larry Riley's Tenure with the Warriors, but it does have a good effect. Yes we do loose an impact bench player, but more importantly we loose his big contract. Maggette who has 3 years $31 million remaining for Dan Gadzuric who is in the Final Year of his contract and is set to make $7.1 million, and Charlie Bell who has 2 years left on his current deal for $3.8 & $4.1 million. This actually may turn out to be a good trade for the dubs, because we release the huge contract that we never should have given Magette. I must admit, I am a Maggette fan, I love his demeanor, and the style he plays, but from a business standpoint it was a great trade. Also with the Recent swapping of second round picks with Portland: We trade 34 for $2 million along with the 44 overall pick in the draft. Once the trade was completed, Don Nelson stated in a press conference "I think you can get as good a player in the D-League as you can most second-round picks, There are some exceptions to the rule. But generally speaking, in the D-League there are second-rounders that have developed." (Don Nelson). With that the Warriors may just end up waving Dan Gadzuric in order to resign Anthony Tolliver. Now that gives the Warriors even more money this offseason to sign maybe 2 impact players or even a max player.
Now we also have $17 to spend this offseason, so watch out for the Warriors to sign a big name free agent. Not saying it will happen, it gives us hope. Also with the impending sale of the team a Free Agent may begin to actually consider Golden State.

2. One of the best Fan bases in basketball who adore the Warriors.
3. Weather: The Bay Area is a very desirable place to live, because of the weather, and its warm winters.
4. They will play alongside Stephen Curry and Anthony Randolph.
5. When Larry Ellison finally buys the team we will have a Mark Cuban type of owner who will not care how much he spends as long as he can win a championship.
