Why It Will Only Take Five Games For The Lakers To Beat The Celtics

Shawn DhaniJun 5, 2010

The Lakers rocked in Game One of the NBA Finals, destroying the Boston Celtics 102-89.

And it brings me to something.

The Los Angeles Lakers are definitely looking for revenge.

We saw the Boston Celtics destroying the Lakers in Game Six of the 2008 NBA Finals, 131-92. Now the Lakers need to do the same to Boston.

I think the Lakers can beat Boston in four or five games. I can see it.

Kobe Bryant is so unstoppable. Even double-teamed, the Celtics couldn't stop him in the post game or anywhere else.

Pau Gasol has finally shown his toughness and is now going to bring it every game, slowing down Kevin Garnett and leaving him behind.

I hope Andrew Bynum has a chance to make impact.

Ron Artest will be vital. I think he will man-up on Paul Pierce so much and stop him. Artest also has the attack the three when he really needs to use it.

And Derek Fisher, the smallest things he does makes big things happen for the Lakers. I see him and Kobe getting their fifth ring.

Lamar Odom will be huge coming off the bench.

And Kobe is really serious. Chris Rock was even playing around and Kobe acted like he didn't hear him.

Or maybe it was because he was with David Spade.

No, Kobe is serious. Big time.

No matter what happens, the Lakers will win this series. They are just too good to be stopped by Boston. If they keep playing the way they are right now, I can see them sweeping or getting it in five games.

I said earlier that the Lakers will win in Game Seven, but now, I guess I changed my mind.

I guess we'll see.

Enjoy the Finals.
