NBA Finals Game One Recap
Last night, the Lakers were victorious in Game One of the NBA Finals, beating the Celtics by a score of 102-89. Little surprises on the Lakers side of things, as Kobe Bryant had a game-high 30 points, and the Lakers improved their home record to 9-0 this postseason. As for the Celtics, they received less than stellar performances from some of their main players, including Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett. Rondo did little to excite the fans and ignite his team, as he has been doing throughout the entire playoffs. Additionally, Kevin Garnett was severely outplayed by Pau Gasol, as was Kendrick Perkins. Gasol out rebounded Garnett and Perkins combined by seven rebounds!
With Game One in the books, fans are scouring to grab tickets on the secondary market to catch the Finals live, with only six games left in the 2010 NBA season.
