Bosh Can Still Be a Rocket: New Site Launched To Influence Him
Five days ago sources revealed a so-called "wish list" Chris Bosh had allegedly given the Toronto Raptors. This list revealed the only five teams Chris Bosh would consider playing for next season.
That source was wrong.
Not long after the article was published, the 26-year-old superstar stated on his Twitter page that the information was incorrect. Bosh provided a link saying: "Here's something more accurate."
The link was to an article in which Bosh and his agent, Henry Thomas, said they had not given any list to the Raptors."Why would I do that?" Thomas said. "We're still in a process of evaluating a lot different situations."
With this news, Houston still has a legitimate chance at landing the big-man in this summer's free-agency fiasco.
Houston fans have recently launched a Web site, Houston4bosh.com to try and sway him our way.
The site gives a slide show of incentives for Bosh to make the move to the Rockets which included this season's performance without a superstar, the international fame that comes with Rockets games being broadcast in China, and the money he could save having no state income tax.
For Bosh, the state income tax could be surprisingly influential having lived in high-tax Canada for the last seven years.
Bosh, who has played in Toronto his whole career, is a Texas native. There is no reason to believe Bosh doesn't want to return home. With Dirk Nowitski still in Dallas and the Spurs an aging dynasty, Bosh would be a much better fit in Houston.
Although Bosh may want to play with LeBron James or Dwayne Wade, it may not be a possibility. If he swings and misses with both, I believe Houston will be a great place for his career to flourish.
Come to Houston Mr. Bosh, and put your name among the great big-men who have played for our Rockets.
