What a Difference A Year Makes, Huh Rashard??

Last year the Orlando Magic faced the Boston Celtics in Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs. Just about one year later, the two are now squaring off in the Eastern Conference Finals. There was one guy who helped a ton to propel the Magic past the Celtics last year- His name is Rashard Lewis.

In 7 games against the C's in the playoffs last year, Lewis averaged 20.4 ppg while going 45.5% from the field. Well that is great work against Glen Davis... So how is he doing against the Big Ticket? In the 2 games that have been played thus far in this series, Rashard has averaged 5.5 ppg while going 25% from the field.

Now I told you Rashard (even if you couldn't hear me) to take advantage of your time in the spotlight while Big Baby is guarding you. This is nothing against Baby, but he never has and never will be the Defensive Player of the Year. Kevin Garnett has had that title, and looks very fresh on defense right now.

For some reason I don't think Lewis is going to have diarrhea of the mouth like he did last year after the Celtics celebrated on their floor when Baby hit the shot at the buzzer. Its hard to say a word when your production hasn't even reached the level of Brian Scalabrine.

Garnett is owning Rashard Lewis, and will continue to own Rashard Lewis as the Celtics prove to the Magic that they can kick us when we are down, but we will kick the living sh(rap) out of them when both sides have their entire arsenal.
