ALL SHALL BE WITNESSES: NBA Playoffs 2010 Cavs Vs Celtics Game 7?

Game 6 is correct if you say so and guess what?  You’re also right on the money if you state that Game 7 it is.  Admit it.  You absolutely love it.  I certainly do.

Which one will you be watching though ? I’ve myself made up my mind thank you very much….and I will be watching Game 7….......Back to my little blah-blah-blah intro in a minute (a minute?)

I was born in Haiti in the psychedelic years and became a WITNESS,  a Jehovah’s witness that is.  I probably had no other option as it was my mother’s choice to start with.  Actually I gained lots from it but hey that’s surely not the NBA topic du jour. 

Another true childhood story: I once and only once WITNESSED a Zombie procession in my home town Petion-Ville the morning of the demolition of the “mache Petion-Ville”, our then local market…….a sight forever implanted in my recollective memory.

Anyway.

We’re now in 2010 and I can tell you that was  a  “Zombie-like passion display” by King James and his Cavaliers on their home floor all throughout that real ugly loss by the Celtics. In Haiti some sport teams (usually football) are known to turn to the recourse of voodoo rituals to confuse their opponents thus giving themselves  an edge.  Hmmm….I think Kevin and Rajon are Haitians of Dahomean origins……(what I’m trying to insinuate ?) 

Today to be precise is Friday, May 14th, 3:30 AM (New Zealand time).
 In less than 8 hours I’m about to become a WITNESS all over again, this time a KING JAMES’ WITNESS.  At least I really hope so.

I had taken notice before on quite a few occasions of his Royal moves on the floor (and I’m not referring to the dance floor here) but this time I must say the King will definitely have my undivided attention as it’s my day-off  even though right after the match I’ll be driving my kids’ mum to the Airport for a domestic week end flight *.  I know he will have yours too comes Game time…

Talking about Pressure cooker.  I’m sorry Lebron.  I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes today as I’m sure you wouldn’t want to be in mine either….being up at this early morning hour…..then again I wonder what time it is on the east coast currently ? I wouldn’t be surprised If you didn’t sleep last night.  I wouldn’t either because I just couldn’t……Actually I didn’t (again yet another topic)

Forget about MSG on the night of your buddy Jay-Z’s sold out gig.  This time and maybe this time only, the BOSTON GARDEN will be and must be the “WORLD GREATEST ARENA”.   Game 6, err, Game 7 today is your CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

Fast forward to the Game.  I’m expecting at least a triple-double my man.  I mean RAJON did it last time in Boston.  Sorry but that’s true.  He did and we all witnessed it.  Most importantly his team won that game and that was after the worst Playoff home lost trashing they received from You, yes You Sir.
 
Your Highness, is it asking for too much ? a quadruple-double and I’m not talking turnovers here.  I want blocked shots, lots of them which can only mean an ever present and sharp defensive stance because come to think of it, it’s also Game 7 for the Celtics. 

Like Garnett said after your team’s last NBA Playoff home debacle, Boston knows they can’t afford not to administer the coup the grace to you and your Cavaliers.in Game 6 at the Boston Garden in a few hours time.  Last year they were in a similar predicament but ended up losing the last two games of the Orlando series including Game 7 on their home floor if I’m no mistaken.

Rondo and the Celtics responded to your humiliations a few days ago.  It’s your turn now and  I can’t wait to be a WITNESS…….PLEASE MAKE ME YOUR WITNESS……or perhaps the BIG SHAQTUS’.

*Please no overtime KING as I absolutely cannot  afford to be late picking HER up for the Airport trip (things have been so fragile between us especially since my HAITI post- earthquake trip ……but of course that’s totally another topic)
