NBA Trade News: Marcus Camby Dealt To Portland
Breaking News: The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to trade center Marcus Camby to the Portland Trail Blazers for forward Travis Outlaw and guard Steve Blake.
Camby, 35, is second in the NBA in rebounding at 12.1 boards per game and is averaging 7.7 points per game this season. He’ll join LaMarcus Aldridge in a Portland frontcourt that’s been plagued with injuries this year.
Outlaw is averaging 9.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in his seventh season with Portland. Blake is averaging 7.6 points and 4.0 assists per game.

There have been rumors that the Clipper might be looking to shed contracts, and this certainly begins that process. Outlaw is an athletic forward who will help suck up some of the hurt from the Clippers, who have been without Blake Griffin all season, while Steve Blake will back up starting point guard Baron Davis.
Outlaw and Blake will continue to have minimal fantasy impact, but the movement of Camby could impact the rebound and block totals of both Camby and Aldridge. There could be more movement from both teams, though, so stay tuned.
