Fantasy Basketball 2020: Ranking Sleepers for NBA Week 2

The Atlanta Hawks have had a handful of contributors chip in strong numbers during their 2-0 start.

Trae Young and a few others have already rewarded fantasy basketball owners with standout performances, but there is one player on the waiver wire in a majority of leagues who can be a boost to your roster in Week 2.

De'Andre Hunter started his second NBA season with back-to-back double-digit performances, and he could turn into a solid value play during Atlanta's four-game week and beyond.

The best under-the-radar players for the next seven days will come from teams playing four games. Atlanta is one of 14 teams with a busy schedule from Monday to Sunday.

Hunter is not going to be the leading scorer most nights for Atlanta, but he has proved he can fill up key stat categories.

In Saturday's 10-point win over the Memphis Grizzlies, the second-year player out of Virginia totaled 15 points and 11 rebounds in 35 minutes.

If Hunter chips in with double-digit point totals and corrals over five rebounds in most games, he will be a great asset to Atlanta's attempt to move into Eastern Conference playoff contention come the end of the season.

As of Sunday night, Hunter was rostered in 29 percent of Yahoo leagues and four percent of ESPN competitions, per FantasyPros.

If Hunter plays well and the Hawks win in Week 2 against the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers, his roster percentage should increase.

Hunter can create even more buzz for a potential second-year surge if he plays well in the two games against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday and Friday.

If you look ahead to Atlanta's Week 3 schedule, which features the New York Knicks and two meetings with the Charlotte Hornets, now may be the time to buy Hunter's stock before it potentially rises more.

George Hill, PG/SG, Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City Thunder does not have the easiest schedule in Week 2, but the key component of the slate is three home games in a row.

The lack of travel stress should ease the pressure on the players' bodies during a Monday-Tuesday back-to-back against the Utah Jazz and Orlando Magic.

George Hill could be the perfect low-risk, high-reward player for Week 2. He started the season with a 21-point outing against the Charlotte Hornets.

Of course, there is not much we can learn about a team from one victory over the Hornets, but that game gave us a glimpse into how Hill could be used next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the Thunder backcourt.

Hill is only rostered in six percent of Yahoo leagues, per FantasyPros, so he could be a solid depth option to use during OKC's home run.

Week 2 may be the best seven-day stretch to utilize Hill as a roster sleeper in the near future since the Thunder embark on a five-game, eight-day road trip that kicks off Saturday night in Orlando.
