Suns PG Elfrid Payton Cuts Iconic Hair, Shows off New Look

Phoenix Suns guard Elfrid Payton is going to look quite different on the court during the 2018-19 season.

As Ballislife.com shared, Payton cut his long hair that was so identifiable when he was playing:

Safe to say, former Orlando Magic teammate Evan Fournier was excited to see the news:

While Payton's hair had become one of his defining characteristics among basketball fans, it was also an issue at one point during the 2017-18 campaign in a game against the Brooklyn Nets. As Anthony Puccio of SB Nation captured, the hair appeared to block Payton's vision as he air-balled a short shot in the lane:

Looks like Suns fans won't have to worry about that next season.
