Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James continues to make his case to be called the greatest basketball player of all time, but Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant may not agree with that assessment.

As seen in the following screenshot, Bryant liked a tweet Saturday that read, "If you were a baller, you'd know that Kobe is more skilled than LeBron."

Bryant retired in 2016 after a 20-year career with the Lakers. He was named an All-Star on 18 occasions and won two scoring titles, one regular-season MVP award, two NBA Finals MVP awards and five championships.

Kobe is also third on the all-time NBA scoring list with 33,643 points and has career averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

The 33-year-old James is in the midst of his 15th NBA season split between the Cavs and Miami Heat.

He is a 14-time All-Star, one-time scoring champion, four-time regular-season MVP, three-time NBA Finals MVP and three-time NBA champion.

LeBron has reached the NBA Finals in seven straight seasons, and he can make it eight if the Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

For his career, James averages 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per contest.

He is also currently playing at a higher level than ever before arguably with 34.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game in this year's playoffs.

Regardless of who is more skilled, the numbers say that both Kobe and LeBron are among the best ever to play the game.
