"Being in a position to not only provide a voice for underserved children, but to put action toward it with an annual event is something I'm really passionate about," Nash said. "Teaming up with Bleacher Report means we'll be able to bring the fun and excitement of Showdown to millions of people through their digital and social platforms, allowing them to take part and contribute to the mission, growing health in kids."

From interviews to skills challenges and more, Bleacher Report Football will provide behind-the-scenes footage via the B/R App.

Along with the celebrity game, there will be a free Fan Fest that will feature player appearances, youth clinics, merchandise and more.

The Steve Nash Foundation's goal is to "assist underserved children in their health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life." More information for the event can be found on Nash's official website.
