LaVar Ball, Sons LaMelo and LiAngelo Return to LA After Quitting Lithuanian Team
The Ball family returned to Los Angeles for the first time since LaVar Ball confirmed sons LaMelo and LiAngelo were leaving Lithuanian team BC Vytautas, according to TMZ Sports.
Ahead of what proved to be a 73-69 defeat to Siauliai on April 25, Vytautas announced LaMelo and LiAngelo would miss the game because of injuries. Later that day, LaVar told Lithuanian basketball journalist Donatas Urbonas his sons were heading home.
"We're not going to waste our time no more," LaVar said.
LaMelo averaged 6.5 points and 2.4 assists in eight league games, while LiAngelo averaged 12.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14 appearances. The brothers were unable to help turn Vytautas' season around, as the team is on track to get relegated from the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).
