Baker Mayfield was the No. 1 pick of the NFL draft, but the Cleveland Browns will hope he is better throwing a football than a baseball.

Mayfield and No. 4 pick Denzel Ward threw out of the first pitch at the Cleveland Indians game Friday and both of them struggled:

Sheesh. You'd expect a better throw from the 1st pick of the #NFLDraft.... https://t.co/73GmtbmFp1

As a cornerback, Ward doesn't throw too much but Mayfield will be passing footballs for a living, so you would like to see a little more accuracy.

Of course, just being a good athlete doesn't necessarily help you throw a successful first pitch. John Wall struggled mightily in his attempt while David Johnson was also wide. There shouldn't be any real concern about Mayfield's high-and-outside throw, but it wasn't a great introduction to his new city.
