Kanye collaborates with Adidas on the Yeezy line of clothing and footwear, and he expressed a great deal of confidence in the product Wednesday:

With regard to the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 shoes, West said that Adidas once sold 400,000 pairs in four hours and added that it's comparable to iPhone sales.

West also praised Adidas for letting "Yeezy be Yeezy" and said it wouldn't have been possible with Nike.

Last year, Matt Powell of The NPD Group reported that Adidas had surpassed Jordan Brand for the No. 2 spot in United States shoe sales, trailing only Nike.
