Sports Illustrated shared Snapchat footage of Bryant working out with New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.:
This comes after Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA Today reported Giants general manager Dave Gettleman announced his team released wide receiver Brandon Marshall. "I'm interested in everybody," Gettleman said when asked if the release could open a spot for Bryant.
Bryant also previously discussed potentially joining the Giants with Mike Fisher of 247Sports:
"The Giants got a helluva defense, they're going to pay OBJ (fellow wideout and pal Odell Beckham Jr.), so coming back. Playing with him, Sterling (Shepard) ... the tight end (Evan Engram), (QB Eli) Manning? Crazy. ... They draft (Penn State running back Saquon Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick)? That'd be crazy!"
The idea of Bryant playing alongside Beckham isn't an amusing one for opposing secondaries, even if the former Cowboys playmaker hasn't reached 1,000 receiving yards since 2014.
He is a three-time Pro Bowler and would figure to face single coverage throughout the season with Beckham drawing additional attention.
