The Golden State Warriors moved to 2-0 in their first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, in large part due to Klay Thompson's hot shooting.
The four-time All-Star scored 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting in Game 2, including 16 in the fourth quarter alone.
Through the first two games, Thompson has 58 points on 23-of-33 shooting from the field, including 10-of-14 from three-point range.
"Ridiculous shots," Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said after the game, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. "Doesn't even turn to see the rim."
With Stephen Curry still sidelined by a knee injury, Thompson has taken over the spotlight for the Warriors.
