Scott PolacekApr 3, 2018
Brandon Roy and Nicolas Batum were teammates on the Portland Trail Blazers from 2008-11, and the latter had glowing reviews for the University of Washington product.
On Tuesday, Batum tweeted Roy was the "best player I've ever played with" in response to a highlight video of the swingman.
Roy's talent was clear during his NBA career after he was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2006 draft. He was the 2006-07 Rookie of the Year, a three-time All-Star and a two-time member of an All-NBA team, although injuries cut his career short.
