Andre Drummond, Quincy Acy Ejected After Heated Scuffle During Pistons vs. Nets

Rob GoldbergApr 1, 2018

Tempers were high in the second half of Sunday's game between the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.

At the end of the third quarter, Andre Drummond and Quincy Acy got tangled up on a rebound, and it led to a shoving match between the two:

Both players were given technical fouls and ejected for fighting.

Acy had only played four minutes before the scuffle, finishing 0-of-4 from the field, while Drummond tallied 13 points and 14 rebounds on 4-of-7 shooting in the Pistons' 108-96 win.

With Acy giving four inches and nearly 40 points in this matchup, however, he deserves some credit for not backing down before getting held back by teammates and officials.
