SEC Tournament 2018: Quarterfinals Scores, Updated Bracket, Semifinal Schedule
There will be four teams left standing in the 2018 SEC tournament after Friday's quarterfinal matchups.
With the exception of Georgia's win over Missouri in the second round, the bracket has mostly been chalk up to this point. No. 9 Alabama was the only other lower-seeded team to win on Thursday, though its victory came against No. 8 Texas A&M.
It was a crowded year in the SEC during the regular season. Auburn earned the No. 1 seed with a 13-5 conference record, but the top six teams were all within three wins of each other.

2018 SEC Tournament Semifinals (Friday, All Times ET)
No. 9 Alabama vs. No. 4 Kentucky, 1 p.m.
No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 6 Arkansas, 3 p.m.
Arkansas 80, Florida 72
Arkansas exploded with 50 points in the second half en route to an 80-72 victory over Florida to advance to the SEC tournament semifinals.
An aggressive offensive attack carried the Razorbacks to a win. They made more free throws (16) than Florida attempted (14) and had a 14-8 advantage on the offensive glass.
Senior guard Jaylen Barford was Arkansas' offensive standout with 27 points and 10 rebounds. He was one of two Razorbacks with a double-double, alongside Daniel Gafford (16 points, 12 rebounds).
Florida tried using its long-distance shooting to keep pace in the game. The Gators made 13 of their 32 three-point attempts. Keith Stone had a team-high 22 points off the bench.
The key stretch in Arkansas' win came with 9:59 left in the second half. Clinging to a 50-48 advantage, head coach Mike Anderson's bunch went on a 12-0 run over the next four minutes to put the game away.
Arkansas has played in the SEC tournament final twice in the past three years, losing to Kentucky both times. It will have a chance to get back to the game with a win over Tennessee in Saturday's semifinal.
The Razorbacks won their only meeting with Tennessee during the regular season.
Tennessee 62, Mississippi State 59
Tennessee has advanced to the SEC tournament semifinals for the first time since 2014 after a narrow 62-59 victory over Mississippi State.
Mississippi State had a chance to the game after Jordan Bone missed a free throw with three seconds remaining, but the Bulldogs were unable to get a shot off before time expired.
Sophomore Lamonte Turner led the way for Tennessee's offense with 15 points off the bench. He also grabbed eight rebounds, his most in a game since Dec. 17 against North Carolina.
It wasn't a good shooting day for either team. They combined to go 40-of-116 from the field, but Tennessee gave itself plenty of second-chance opportunities with 22 offensive rebounds.
Mississippi State now figures to be sweating things out heading into Selection Sunday. It's not currently in ESPN's Joe Lunardi's projected field of 68, despite the SEC having eight teams in his latest update.
Tennessee figures to be a lock for the field regardless of what happens in the SEC tournament. It sits at 24-7 heading into the semifinal and is looking for its first tournament title since 1979.
Kentucky 62, Georgia 49
After a pedestrian regular season, especially by its lofty standards, Kentucky is back in the SEC tournament semifinals after a 62-49 win over Georgia.
Kentucky controlled this game throughout, taking the lead for good in the final three minutes of the first half. The trio of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PJ Washington and Kevin Knox did most of the heavy lifting for the Wildcats offense, combining for 48 of their 62 points.
John Calipari's defense also made life miserable for the Bulldogs, who made just 28.3 percent of their field-goal attempts and committed 11 turnovers.
The loss drops Georgia's record to 18-15 overall, most likely putting it on the outside looking in at the NCAA tournament. Head coach Mark Fox's squad could make for a solid NIT team with notable wins over Saint Mary's, Florida and Missouri.
The Wildcats will look toward a matchup against Alabama in the semifinals. Kentucky earned an 81-71 victory over the Crimson Tide in their only regular-season game on Feb. 17.
Alabama 81, Auburn 63
Fighting for its NCAA tournament life, Alabama sent a resounding message to the selection committee with an 81-63 win over top-seeded Auburn.
The Crimson Tide appeared to be in trouble in the first half, trailing by 10 points at halftime, but they outscored Auburn 50-22 in the final 20 minutes to cruise past their in-state rivals.
Freshman sensation Collin Sexton, whose game-winner against Texas A&M kept Alabama's season alive, followed up Thursday's performance by scoring 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
The Ringer's Rodger Sherman came up with a title for what Sexton's March could end up being if this keeps up:
Playing its first game since March 3, Auburn showed plenty of rust. The Tigers shot 32.3 percent overall, and Jared Harper, who averaged 13.9 points per game during the season, had just seven points.
Despite the abrupt ending to its SEC tournament run, Auburn's 25-7 record and regular-season conference title will put the program in the field of 68 for the first time since 2003.
Alabama needed to make a deep run in St. Louis this week to have a shot at making the NCAA tournament. Its now just two wins away from earning an automatic berth in the field and not having to worry about getting an at-large bid.
