LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball Miss Game Due to Objection to Reality Show Cameras

Adam WellsJan 6, 2018

LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball didn't attend Prienai Vytautas' game on Saturday because the opposing team didn't want reality show cameras in the arena.

Per ESPN's Jeff Goodman, LiAngelo and LaMelo stayed in Prienai after Lietuvos Rytas objected to having television cameras record material for Ball in the Family

LiAngelo and LaMelo weren't expected to play in Saturday's game for Prienai Vytautas.

Goodman reported earlier in the day the Ball brothers will make their debut for the Lithuanian basketball team on Jan. 9 as part of the Big Baller Brand Challenge, which was set up by LaVar Ball as a series of exhibition games to get his sons extended playing time.

"When you come out and they change it just for the Balls, you know it's real," LaVar said.

Ball in the Family is a reality series airing on Facebook Watch that documents the life of the Ball family, including LaVar and Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.

Prienai Vytautas was defeated 113-56 by Lietuvos Rytas.
