Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns Spar on Instagram

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns took shots at each other on Instagram on Wednesday, one night after the Sixers earned a 118-112 overtime win over the Timberwolves at Target Center.

The spat started when Embiid posted a photo of himself going for a layup during the contest along with the following caption: "Euro stepping our way through Minnesota and we ended up raising the cat last night #TheProcess." 

Towns clearly wasn't amused, and the two began a back-and-forth online battle: 

These young franchise faces won't meet on the court again until Philadelphia hosts Minnesota on Mar. 24.
