Drake Makes LaVar Ball Joke During Opening Monologue of NBA Awards Show
LaVar Ball has made many headlines over the past few months with his words. And it only makes him a bigger target for jokes.
Drake, who is hosting Monday's NBA Awards, went right after the father of new Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, calling him the "black father that's around way too much," per Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com.
Meanwhile, Ball wasn't around to hear the joke at his expense because he spent Monday night on WWE Raw at the Staples Center.
Along with his sons Lonzo and LaMelo, LaVar spent time in the ring and had words with The Miz:
Ball has made his way around the television circuit promoting himself and his three sons, and he doesn't appear likely to slow down. With Lonzo now in the NBA and LiAngelo and LaMelo headed to UCLA, the man with the outspoken personality will likely be around a long time.
